Coaching is a partnership. It's a space where we apply the same rigor and creativity we use to analyze systems and stories to the most important project of all: your life. This isn't about generic advice or empty affirmations. It's about understanding your personal narrative, identifying your goals, and building a practical strategy to achieve them.
Is This You?
My coaching is designed for a specific kind of person. If any of the following statements resonate with you, we might be a great fit.
- You're a critical thinker who often gets stuck in analysis paralysis, seeing all the paths but struggling to take the first step.
- You're an eclectic, multi-passionate person who has been told to "pick one thing," but you know your strength lies in the intersection of your interests.
- You feel like you're drifting or waiting for your 'real' life to begin, but you're just not sure where to start.
- You're looking for a partner in thought—someone who will respect your intelligence and help you turn your own ideas into action.
My Approach: The systems that define your life
My background isn't in corporate coaching; it's in building worlds and understanding systems. I bring a unique toolkit to our conversations, blending three core concepts:
- Systems Thinking: We'll look at your life not as a series of isolated problems, but as an interconnected system. We'll identify leverage points where small changes can create massive, positive results.
- Narrative Design: Drawing on my experience as a writer and mythologist, we'll explore your life like the narrative it is. We'll define your true motivations, map out your surrounding landscape, and design the next chapter of your life together.
- Practical Philosophy: We'll dig into the "why" behind your goals. Our work is to build a resilient, personal philosophy that acts as a compass, guiding your decisions long after our sessions end.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What happens during a typical coaching session? Our sessions are focused conversations. We'll start by defining what you want to accomplish, then we'll explore the situation using the tools of systems thinking and narrative design. My goal is to facilitate your own process of self-reflection and help you leave with a set of concrete next steps you can take immediately.
2. How is this different from therapy? Therapy is a vital tool for healing and deep processing, often with a focus on mental health. Coaching is future-focused. Our work is centered on defining your goals and building strategies to achieve them. While our past shapes us, our focus will be on designing your future.
3. What if I need to cancel or reschedule? Life happens! For the Pathfinder Plan, you can reschedule your monthly session with 24 hours' notice. Missed sessions without notice will be forfeited for that month. Multiple missed sessions will result in a reassessment of our schedule.
4. Who is this coaching not for? I am not the right coach for you if you are looking for a guru to give you all the answers or if you want purely motivational "hype" sessions. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and built on the belief that you are the only person who can solve your problems and discover your future. I'm here to be your guide and strategist, not your leader.
